Slice of Nice is owned by Sara and Gary Nice. Most of the characters you find on the front of these cards are part of our family. So, these greeting cards are quite literally a ‘slice’ of our life.
Sara is a dog photographer and Gary is a writer, making a perfect match to create a line of cards.
The cards will show you the many sides of our Golden Retrievers, Ashby, Bailey, Casey, Duncan and Emma. You will also meet several of their friends of other breeds.
Another ‘slice’ of our life includes a foundation that supports canine cancer research. The National Canine Cancer Foundation was created in 2006 when we lost Bailey to the awful disease. Ashby, Sara’s first photography model, died in 2007 of cancer. In 2008, cancer took their youngest dog, Duncan, at the age of 6. It is because of this, that a portion of the profit from these cards will be donated to the National Canine Cancer Foundation.
