Stuff knows how to pick his tree!
Toni Drugmand brought Stuff and her crew over to visit with Santa and have their Christmas portraits taken! Toni has taught Stuff a most unusual trick! He even volunteered it while he was waiting on us to make up our minds as to what pose to put him in!
Valen is sucking up to Santa!
Santa asked for it. He really did. He asked Valen what he wanted for Christmas and after that he asked for kisses and well, the picture really tells the story the best!
CJ and Pippen
CJ and Pippen just want to make sure that they aren’t going to miss out on the man in red’s generosity. CJ has told the little 4 month old Pippen that Santa will be coming with presents, but he wants to make sure that his Mom has put him on the good list this year!
Bella is excited for Christmas!
Meet Bella the Border Collie! She came by the studio for her Christmas pictures and was a very good model! Most photo shoots can take up to an hour. We take time to get the pup used to their surroundings and then we start to ask them to pose. Some dogs sniff around. Some are not sure what this lady with this big black thing with a bright light is doing. And sometimes all you get are blurs chasing the screaming monkey that you just threw to get their attention.
But not Bella! She came in, looked around and then went right to work! She got dressed in her best jingle bell collar and took direction very well. She was finished in 15 minutes, record time!
With 8 days left for Christmas, I have a present suggestion for the hard to buy for person in your life. Why not donate to your favorite animal charity. I think Bella might like it if you gave to Arizona Border Collie Rescue, even though she is not a rescue. It’s the time of year to be as generous as you can and it can be a great gift to your friend, the charity and your taxes! Thank you for giving if you can!

Parker wants to lead the sleigh
Parker has been a good agility dog all year long. He came to visit Santa and Santa asked Parker if he would like to pull the sleigh. The goofy little Labrador was just so excited that Santa chose him to be part of the Reindeer crew. Parker would like to lead Santa’s crew of Reindeer to deliver all the presents to all the good girls and boys and fur kids too! He even put on red antlers, but Santa said that you had to have a red nose to lead the sleigh. Maybe next year Parker!
While my Christmas rush as a photographer has now ended, the real Christmas rush for all the last minute shoppers is just starting to be a twinkle in their eye. With the last 10 days until Christmas I thought I would share with you some of the Christmas photos that will be on the mantles for everyone to see as they open presents.
Kyri the Elf
As you know, there are Santa’s at the mall taking all the kids orders and relaying them to the real Santa and his elves who are working hard for the big day. Well, even dogs have a Santa that they can ask for their presents! Kyri volunteered to be an elf this year when Santa was working. I think she did it for the extra presents she thinks she will get for being such a good girl.
Later that day....
As the day wore on Kyri was less interested in helping out and wondered when she could get her break that Santa promised her.
Always remember to throw some treats in your pocket for the elves when you go visit Santa because after all, you know the big man has to get help from somewhere!
